Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage, also known as champissage, is a therapeutic technique rooted in ancient Ayurvedic practices, focusing on the head, neck, shoulders, and upper arms. It involves massage techniques like kneading, stroking, and acupressure to release tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. The massage can be performed with or without oil.

Full body Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is a popular type of massage therapy known for its relaxation and therapeutic benefits. It involves a combination of long, gliding strokes, kneading, friction, and tapping movements to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension. It is a foundational technique in massage therapy and is widely practiced in the Western world

Scalp Oiling & Massage

A scalp oiling massage involves applying warm oil to the scalp and massaging it in using fingertips, often with circular motions, to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and nourish the scalp and hair. It can be a stand-alone treatment or incorporated into a broader massage session.

Back, Neck & Shoulder Swedish Massage

A back, neck, & shoulder massage is a therapeutic treatment focused on relieving tension and promoting relaxation in the upper body. It typically involves a combination of techniques to address muscle tightness, reduce stress, and improve circulation in these areas.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage, also known as prenatal massage, is a specialized massage therapy designed to meet the unique needs of pregnant women. It focuses on relieving common discomforts associated with pregnancy, such as backaches, swollen joints, and muscle tension, while prioritizing the safety of both the mother and the baby.

Leg & foot Swedish Massage

Similar to the back, neck & shoulder massage your therapists utilise the full range of Swedish massage techniques to relieve pressure, soreness and tenderness from aching and tired legs. The foot is never given enough attention for massage. Take the time to give your feet a well-earned rest.

What are the benefits of these treatents?

Giving yourself time in a busy world is incredibly important to ensure you avoid burnout and allow your body’s immune system to recover. Being stressed and struggling with the mental and physical load of life has a lasting effect on the body.

Better Sleep

Massage stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which lowers cortisol (stress hormone) levels and increases serotonin and dopamine, fostering relaxation and allowing the body to switch off, rest and restore. If your body is persistently stimulating the sympathetic nervous system your quality of sleep be significantly effected.

Easing aches and pain

Massage therapy can be an effective method for pain relief, working by relaxing muscles, improving circulation, and potentially stimulating the release of endorphins, which are natural pain relievers. By reducing muscle tension, increasing blood flow, and promoting relaxation, massage can help alleviate both acute and chronic pain conditions

Space to focus on you

Prioritizing self-care is the first step to reaping all the benefits our therapists can offer. This can be the first steps to forming a positive habit towards improving your quality of life. Like with any new action or idea, the hardest part is to start. Give yourself the motivation to start focusing on you.

Improving Mental Health

Massage therapy can significantly benefit mental health by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, improving mood, and promoting relaxation. Like with sleep, stimulating your parasympathetic nervous system can help increase the production of ‘feel good’ hormones like serotonin and endorphins.
