One of the basic principles of the body is the ability to adapt and improve. Simple biological processes like injury repair and improved strength & endurance require the body to undergo movements that strain and test your tissues. This process of adaptation improves tissue resilience making it less like to fail again.
Movement & activity encourage the natural healing process within the body. Literally applying force to new tissue as it grows helps make it robust and prepares it for the challeneges ahead.
Tissue that doesn’t get exposure to these forces have a higher risk of reinjury.
Blood and Lymphatic fluid provide the delivery and removal system for our tissues. Blood brings what we need to grow and function, Lymph moves the byproducts to be recycled and removed by the liver and kidneys.
Movement & exercise significantly improves how these systems function and perform.
High level performance comes form a number factors working together. Endurance, Strength, Mobility, Speed are all derived from how our tissues function.
Knowing how to improve our performance require a in-depth knowldge of how our body functions right down to a cellular level.
Too much exercise and you’re body starts to break down, not enough and progress is slow or just not present.
Anyone can squat, or lunge, or lift a weight… the trick is knowing what you need to develop. Using our VALD strength testing equipment we can measure what area’s of your body we need to improve on.
We can then tailor your training plan to plug the gaps a generic programme can miss or even create.
You can then monitor your progress over time and compare this to how you perform in the real world.
Not at all… Anyone can pick up a weight and exercise.
