01 / FORCEDECKS
Power, landing & force
Countermovement jumps and repeated hops show force production and reactive performance. Single-leg landings, hop-and-return or drop jumps can examine each side; an isometric mid-thigh pull adds a measure of maximal force when appropriate and suitably set up.
02 / DYNAMO
Muscle strength
Strength tests tailored to the athlete and their sport, across a range of body areas such as the hip, knee and shoulder. Consistent positions allow side-to-side comparison and meaningful retesting where relevant.
03 / FIELD TESTING
Speed & direction
A 10 m sprint looks at initial acceleration, while 30 m shows how speed develops over a longer distance. The 5-0-5 measures the time to turn 180° and accelerate away, with both turning directions compared where useful. These results help shape speed and agility training priorities.
04 / FIELD TESTING
Conditioning
A timed 1.2 km run can estimate maximal aerobic speed. A Yo-Yo intermittent recovery or 30–15 intermittent fitness test can assess repeat running capacity when the space and athlete are suitable.
05 / MOVEMENT
Mobility & context
Selected measures such as sit-and-reach add context alongside sport demands, training history and any current concerns.
06 / REPORTING
Results that guide action
Review an athlete’s baseline, compare appropriate squad averages and retest the same measures to see what has changed.
