There are multiple places of interest to visit near the town, such as Hook Lighthouse, the oldest operating lighthouse in the world. Tinturn Abbey was founded in 1200 and offers a chapel, cloister and chancel to explore. Craanford Mill is a 17th century water mill that’s been restored and is now fully functional, providing tours and tea rooms to visitors. If castles and ruins are more your preference, then you can’t afford to miss Ferns Castle and Ballyhack Castle. Ferns castle is a castle ruin, with multiple towers and structures to see.
